Another second Saturday, another Wynwood Art Walk. Now that it’s October, this edition marks the first boozy gallery crawl of the proper “season” in Miami. Expect big crowds — and things are only going to pick up steam from here. After you hit the strip around Northwest Second Avenue, though, you’ll probably want to keep your cultural buzz going somewhere. How about some music? Here are five parties and shows you can hit up along the general Biscayne corridor after art walk this Saturday, October 13.

Scaramouche 3 at Villa 221

After the previous two editions of Art Walk, the musical curators behind Nightdrive Miami have taken over the sprawling Villa 221 for a party that aims to resurrect Miami’s fabulous cocaine-disco-glitzy past… Uh, musically, that is. The night features DJs spinning the best of disco-y dance sounds new and old, while the Villa’s upstairs gallery displays work by cutting-edge local artists. (This time around, it’s a solo show by 131 Projects.) Sounds come from Paris-based Venice Beach, local boy made good Lazaro Casanova, and residents Patrick Walsh and Laura of Miami. 10 p.m. at Villa 221, 221 NE 17th St., Miami. Admission is free; age 21 and up. Call 305-416-5280, or visit nightdrivemiami.com

Jacuzzi Boys at Tusk at the Garret

The Garret, Grand Central’s loft-like upstairs annex, has come to own the weekly cool-kid party space with Peach Fuzz on Fridays and, more recently, Tusk on Saturdays. The party offers up good-time dance music that ranges from garage rock to Prince to Hall and Oates, much of it courtesy of J. Boys’ frontman Gabriel. For this Saturday’s edition, he’s roped the rest of the band into attending and performing a proper Jacuzzi Boys show. Shit will get crazy. Doors open at 10 p.m. at the Garret, 697 N. Miami Ave. (entrance on NE 7th St.), Miami. Admission is free; age 21 and up. Call 305-377-2277, or visit grandcentralmiami.com

Death Angel at Churchill’s Pub

Only people heavily into particular metal subgenres will care about this, but no matter. Bay Area band Death Angel pretty much helped define the thrash sound in the early ’80s, and though they broke up from ’91 to 2001, they’ve been going strong again and shredding hard ever since. This tour in particular commemorates the anniversary of the group’s influential debut album, The Ultra Violence, and they’ll be playing it start to finish. Supporting acts include Bounded by Blood, the Wretched, Threat Signal, Thrash or Die, and, as this is Churchill’s, several others. Doors open at 7 p.m. at Churchill’s Pub, 5501 NE 2nd Ave., Miami. Admission is $15 in advance, $18 at the door; age 18 and up. Call 305-757-1807, or visit churchillspub.com

Stokeswood at the Stage

Here’s something for the grown-ups. The Stage is a standout Miami live music venue that’s comfortable, clean, and classy and specializes in good-time music that goes down pleasantly. Saturday night they’ve got Stokeswood, an Atlanta outfit that plays a slick blend of electro-tinged indie. The group visits Miami frequently and, across those shows, has built up a healthy local following for good reason. 10 p.m. at the Stage, 170 NE 38th St., Miami. Admission is $10; age 21 and up. Call 305-576-9577, or visit thestagemiami.com

King Britt at Bardot

Philly-based King Britt is an absolute legend on the dance music scene, boasting an encyclopedic knowledge of the genre and a truly creative, almost jazz-inspired approach to playing out. Fans best know him for his deep house sets, but he’s not afraid to wander into hip-hop or IDM territory, tweaking things from a bank of electronics as he goes and improvising on the fly, rather than just hitting next on a laptop. For this monthly residency at Bardot, he’s supported by local artists Rude Boy Sven and Erick Paredes. Doors open at 10 p.m. at Bardot, 3456 N. Miami Ave., Miami. Admission is $10; age 21 and up. Call 305-576-7750, or visit bardotmiami.com
